“I want to fuel my body well with whole foods and still be able to lose weight.”
Elana had lost weight before. But she'd done it by pushing calories lower and relying on foods that helped her stay within the numbers…
Not necessarily in a way she wanted to keep eating long term!
This time, she wanted something different. She wanted fat loss, yes, but she also wanted to feel good, eat nourishing food and stop feeling like weekends, social events and travel could derail everything.
What she thought she needed was more discipline and consistency, especially at weekends.
What was actually getting in the way…
Her weekdays had structure and her weekends didn't.
Add in her hospitality shifts surrounded by food, long days, stress, travel and social plans, and her routine became much harder to maintain.
So, she didn't need to diet harder. She needed a way of eating that worked beyond Monday to Friday.
What we changed
👉🏼 Built more structure around weekends and busy days
👉🏼 Focused on regular, satisfying meals instead of simply eating less
👉🏼 Created an approach that supported weight loss and the way she actually wanted to eat
By the end, Elana told me: “I've learned so much that I'm excited to apply on my own.”
Elana didn't just learn how to lose the weight. She learnt how to eat in a way that felt good, supported her goals and could continue when the diet ended.
Because the goal was never to become better at eating less, it was to build something she could actually live with.
